Eset remote administrator clients not updating
Follow these steps to install Safetica Downloader Agent using the ESET Remote Administrator (ERA) tool: A.
Upload the Safetica Downloader Agent file into a shared network folder: * * Create a shared network folder e.g. Safetica clients need to be installed on endpoints to provide the Auditor, Supervisor and DLP functionality.
If you are using Active Directory, you can bulk install the downloader agent using a Group Policy.
To use the bulk installation, it is necessary to extract the relevant MSI package of the downloader agent component from the universal package. ERA v6 is the management half of ESET’s endpoint security solution, and is used to provision, control and policy-enable ESET’s complete anti-malware and security suite on enterprise endpoints, including mobile devices and most anything else that connects to the network.
Before performing an offline installation, make sure that you have both the Agent certificate authority available on the target client computer.
ERA Agent must be installed on all client computers where other ESET Remote Administrator components or ESET Endpoint products are installed.
The ERA Agent can be installed using Live Installer, via remote installation, or manually (a local installation).
Wait for an upcoming service release to upgrade ESLC.
Occasionally, ESET Remote Administrator Server fails to update to the most current version of the virus signature database.
